ArtSource 2017

November 2017 | Eibhilin Crossan

The build up to a huge event like Artsource is very intense, and I have taken a little time to reflect on the experience, before writing this post. I had an amazing time in the RDS this year. I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of people who came to visit my stand, to chat, to look at the work, and to meet me in person. So many of my online friends made the effort to come and say hello this year too, and it was truly wonderful to put faces to all the names!

I feel blessed that so many lovely customers came and bought my paintings and prints. It is an incredible feeling when someone falls in love with your work and decides to bring it into their home and their lives. The positive feedback I received is a huge source of motivation going forward into 2018, and I have gained valuable experience in how to better showcase and present my work.

I was very proud of my stand this year, which was bigger and better than last years’ in every way! I have to thank MacDaragh Lambe for helping me hang my show – I could not have done it without him! I was also blessed with great neighbours over the week, and a real highlight was making some awesome new artist friends!

So thank you to everyone who helped make ArtSource 2017 the highlight of my year! I’ll be back 😊
