Cruthú Arts Festival 2019
July 2019 | Eibhilin Crossan
I was nervous about doing my very first pop-up show! How would it go, would people come, how would I hang my work? Well I need not have been so worried! My pop up gallery at the Cruthú Arts Festival in Longford was heaps of fun! I met so many lovely people and made lots of new artist friends. There was great footfall over the weekend, and I was so pleased to sell a number of paintings, prints and cards.
I am particularly delighted that one of my floral original paintings was purchased at the show by Longford’s County Librarian for the Library Art collection!
I have to thank Eugene Rhatigan for lending me his stands to display my work. I would also like to thank Peter Dolan for allowing his premises (soon to be the new Spirit Clothing Shop) to be used as a gallery – it was a truly wonderful space for art! And as always to Eamonn for helping me hang the work – I could not have done it without him… AGAIN!!
