August 2019 | Eibhilin Crossan
I donated another painting to charity, this time in aid of the Peter McVerry Trust and Trocaire.
Bethan is a 16 year old from Bray who along with her mum Róisín o’Farrell ran a pop up Art Gallery in aid of charity. 100% of the proceeds were split between the two charities.
The pop up store was held online and also at their home in Bray on August 31st from 2 to 6pm.
There were lots of paintings and prints at reduced prices, donated by numerous talented and generous Irish artists.
About the Charities:
Peter McVerry Trust is a national housing and homeless charity committed to reducing homelessness and the harm caused by substance misuse and social disadvantage. It serves primarily younger people and vulnerable adults with complex needs, and offers pathways out of homelessness.
Trócaire has been supporting the most vulnerable people in the developing world since 1973, while also raising awareness of injustice and global poverty in Ireland.
